Pleased by the courteous, professional staff, well kept waiting area. A little dismayed at having to make an appointment & be told it would be 1hr 1/2 wait. It seems they were "busy'- but it would have been better if they honored my appointment. Why make one in the first place. |

You were doing really good until you left the hubcap off my truck. Attention to detail! Makes one wonder what else may have been missed??? Probably won?t be back, far to many options in Missoula |
Shop Comment We're so sorry to learn this happened, Jerry. We take issues like this very seriously because we know details are important. We hope you will consider giving us another chance in the future. |

Customer service in sales/appointment area- STELLAR. Cleanliness of interior car after appointment- not so great. (Techs/drivers just need to watch where they put their hands when they have dirt from tires, grease, etc., on them.) Also, request that those installing tires be careful with any custom valve stem caps that were on the car...and ensure make they make it back on after new tires installed. (Two lost; replaced with plain valve stems.) I had complete confidence in the staff that helped me choose my new tires and that set up my appointment; I am not confident that the techs will treat my car as if it is their own based on dirt rubbed into fabric and leather, as well as the lost valve stems. Probably won't visit for service again for one wants their car to come out of service better with a new product, as well as clean on the interior, and intact with any equipment that was installed on the car. A shame, for the front area staff is great. Tire installation seems good; just not attention to detail with how the car was treated to ensure it was returned in the same condition as when it came in. |
Shop Comment Dear Ms. Cook, We are truly sorry that your entire experience at Roemers was not stellar. Our procedures call for regular hand washing as well as the use of seat, steering wheel and floor covers. Clearly the tech responsible DID NOT follow our Standard Operating Procedures in this regard. My Store Manager, Jenny, spoke with him at length to emphasize how important these details are. He feels terrible about not leaving your car clean, as it clearly was when you left it in our care. Your experience with our front line customer service people is indicative of our commitment to making the customer experience satisfying and your experience is NOT a tolerated event. I hope that you will reach out to us soon as we have information regarding the reason for replacing your custom valve stem caps. Thanks you taking the time to call this matter to our attention. It was not a good experience. The last time they changed my oil they forgot to put the oil cap back on, so I was concerned about going back. This time they charged my AC. After putting the stuff in, they discovered my fan was broken. The service tech called and said they'd ordered the part, but it would take a few days and cost $500, and did I want them to take the refridgerant back out. He said they would charge me for putting it in and taking it out. I said no and asked if my car was ready and he said yes. When I went to get it they had not done the oil change yet, which was frustrating. The next day I took my car to my mechanic and he replaced the fan for $180. The folks at Roemer's are very nice, but I won't be going back. |

I bought tires here and immediately they made an odd sound. I took it back and they said the lettering stuck out enough to rub on the inside of the tire well. They?d never seen that before they said. It was weird because it was the same tire as before. This was late on a Friday. They promised they?d call me back the following week to work it out and fix it. Never did. I?ll never buy tires here again. |
Shop Comment Cory, can you let us know if this issue was solved to your satisfaction? We're sure EJ was in contact with you but we want to be certain that you're happy with your tires. Thanks very much! |

Steering problem occurred immediately after seasonal tire change. Another mechanic reported two of the four steel-belted radials had broken belts. We purchased new tires elsewhere, got a front-end alignment which you should have recommended. We won't be coming back. |
Shop Comment We are very sorry you had this problem. We'd love to discuss it further with you, if you're willing: 406-549-6425. Jenny left a message for you. |

I went to Roemer's to have my snow tires taken off and summer tires installed on 2 sets of rims. You would think that a shop that has been in business as long as Roemer's would have staff that takes the time to use a wheel protection kit on their tire changer. Why? Because using nylon bead breaker covers, wheel clamp guards, tool head guards and tire tool protector prevents metal-to-metal contact and costly wheel damage. Now I have 2 sets of alloy rims that were perfect when I brought them in that are damaged because the staff at Roemer's did NOT use any covers when changing my tires. On top of that, they charge more to install new tires vs installing a set that has been previously installed. Why? No explanation given by their staff at all. I would not recommend going here for tire changes if you care about the staff taking care of your car. |
